Kate Middleton & the Crown Jewels

Growing up in a normal family, going away to school, and marrying a prince sounds like your average love story right? Wrong! Kate Middleton is blessed in so many ways I can’t even count them.

Ok well let me try- she’s educated, well spoken, beautiful, exquisitely dressed, and, oh yea, the future queen of England! Not to mention the sister-in-law to royal hunk Harry, but that is a whole different story.

Being one of the most photographed women in the world, it is no surprise that paparazzi have been trying to get the “money shot” for quite sometime. Finally someone snapped not just one, but 14.

Last week, while vacationing at a chateau in the south of France owned by the Queen’s nephew Lord Linley, Kate took off her bikini top to sun bath alongside a clothed William. Unbeknownst to them, a paparazzi lurking in a tree was able to snap a picture of her using a telescopic lens.

Needless to say, these images were not sitting on anyones desk for too long. They were published by a French magazine Closer and were all over the Internet.

The Royal Family soon released a statement. “Their royal highnesses have been hugely saddened to learn that a French publication and a photographer have invaded their privacy in such a grotesque and totally unjustifiable manner.”

French paparazzi do not have a good track record with the Royals after being involved with the car crash that killed Princess Diana in 1997.

The Royal family decided to take legal action against the French magazine and won an injunction on Sept. 18th. The magazine was ordered to pay a fine and hand over the original copies of the photographs to the royal couple. They are banned from printing, selling or distributing any of the nude shots. They must also be taken down from the magazine’s website.

The pros for Kate? Her body is in amazing shape and at least she will not be hearing any pregnancy rumors for the next few weeks…
